Amik is a builder, founder, and operator working at the intersection of AI, capital, and regulated industries. Over twenty years he has founded ventures (Moment Trading, Moment Research, Cut Japan) and led product and design inside companies that exit: One Medical (acq. Amazon, 2022) and Medistem (acq. Precigen, 2014). His research at Amazon became the foundation for Alexa’s first scalable LLMs. His clinical IoT work at One Medical drove a $65M raise led by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

He has worked across healthcare, finance, defense, and crypto, including L2L for the Department of Defense with Senator Robert Kerrey and the UX system behind UNIQLO’s global digital flagship at Razorfish. He holds a master’s in Human‑Computer Interaction from NYU, where he wrote his thesis on interoperability and decentralized healthcare systems years before that was a category.

He teaches in the SVA Products of Design MFA program, advises founders shipping at the AI / fintech edge, and currently runs a small portfolio across onchain analytics, fund operations, and quantitative research.
